So, I know this thread wasn't really set up for quotes like this, but I ran accross it as I was reading A Primates Memoir on my commute this morning. I thought it was particularly clever, and I fear it is going to become my metaphor for life as I continue my descent into clinical depression, so I thought I'd cheer you all up by sharing it with you:
