It's taking awhile to get back. I think it's all the drugs they gave me in the hospital and my doctor does as well. I really hope people read what you wrote there TerriT about the high fat vegan meal setting your gallbladder off too, so they can avoid this misery! Unless we have done this WOE our entire lives - we are likely harboring gall stones, women especially -- AND THOSE LITTLE ROCKS CAN GET US BAD WHEN WE LEAST EXPECT IT. FOLKS, PLEASE, BEWARE OF THAT LURKING FAT IN RESTAURANT FOOD!!!

Put me down for zero weight loss i thout i was down another.. But no this morniNg and yesterday back to the same weight.
Bother. That is what i get for eating off plan thursday night.

Good for you sunbeam! Exercise is supposed to give us the same high as eating without the weight gain. I need to start exercising myself. Hang in there! AnneC

I just started the MWL.today! ...I have been McDougalling for 7 months now...but not the MWL way...I have lost 17lbs since July of 2011...then gained a few during the Holiday...now I am on the right track...just read MWL book....now I get it!....the Caboose is now leaving the station....Breakfast....potato hash....yummy!

My favorite MWL meal is a plate of brown rice, pinto beans (mashed up with some spices), corn, lettuce, tomatoes and lots of salsa on top. Yum! Since I went on MWL we've been having this a couple of times a week and my husband who doesn't follow this WOE loves it too.

Thanks Terri! That does sound good. Yesterday I made a pot of black bean spicy soup. Last night I had a bowl of potatoes(purple, golds, and reds) w/ broccoli. Simple and good.

I made the Sweet and Sour Vegetables yesterday for dinner....OH YUM!...I haven't weighed yet will do that this week at work....but I have noticed my morning oatmeal is now too much to eat..I totally cut out the sugar adding a few frozen blueberries and1/2 banana with almond milk...NO SUGAR! and I can only eat half the bowl now..that is so odd...maybe it was the sugar that caused me to eat more? anyway ...I'm doing this and sticking to it!

5 days now and I'm down 3 lbs.....yippee!...I am just loving the veggies steamed with a "cheezy" sauce..on top of a nuked potato or not....now finally I have gotten rid of the Xmas weight gain and a lb down to boot...

After a week of roller coaster weight (I check my weight daily) I was skeptical that I was losing, but I weighed this morning and was pleasantly surprised that I had lost weight.

I lost 1 lb. this week.

I am not sure what is going on, but I am clearly not doing things right. I have started exercising every day and while my eating isn't perfect, it's been pretty good. I am used to losing at a much faster rate, so this is a big challenge for me. I guess I'll have to start eating less and go to bed hungry. I am back up the one pound I lost last week, bringing me back to my original starting weight of 229.
