Hi BeansNRice-- I Love that your doctor is a vegetarian... and has asked you about Forks over Knives too. You are doing so good. Bp is my hurdle for me. Yours sound great to me. I am wondering why you are taking it, it is so nice and low sounding to me anyway.
Thank you carollynne! Yes I didnt even know she was veggie until the other day! I wore a 24 hour BP monitor and it showed my daily BP as averaging 145/95 approx and my nightly one 133/78, she says the night one worries her as bp should drop while we sleep. It will be tough to prove my daytime BP has dropped as I dont take it while working... maybe I should....
the only thing I dont like is her suggestions about more protein, and red wine every night. Don't get me wrong, I do like a glass of red wine, but I am not sure its of real benefit.
