Here is a link to an article that includes some amazing photos:

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/29/arts/ ... lobal-home

Notice that this is in the "Art and Design" section of the New York Times. Question: Do you think the photographs or the objects depicted by the photographs are more amazing? Ha ha! Capturing those images was a great accomplishment that required a lot of energy, knowledge and work...but compared to creating the objects, it was nothing! :-D

"1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. 3 There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. 4 Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun, 5 which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. 6 It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat." (Psalm 19, NIV)

I really liked the 'Mediterranean Sea' image. It just seems like the water should fall into space. It makes you remember that the concept of up and down is only valid from our vantage point. :)

Space is truly amazing.... talk about seeing how small and amazing our earth is to support so much life!

Every point mass attracts every single other point mass by a force pointing along the line intersecting both points. The force is directly proportional to the product of the two masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the point masses:

Image

where:
F is the magnitude of the gravitational force between the two point masses,
G is the gravitational constant,
m1 is the mass of the first point mass,
m2 is the mass of the second point mass, and
r is the distance between the two point masses.

Lacking a physics forum here, I suppose that is why you placed this here, Letha? In regard to "points," do you think that what we call the "law of gravity" and so many other aspects of the cosmos point to a great Creator? :-D

Letha, what do you mean by "worship" and what do you mean by "physics"? :-D

Letha, thanks for your responses. Perhaps you and others here who are fascinated with science will find this article by Dr. John R. Rankin interesting:

http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/Ar ... rankin.asp

This article is from the e-book, In Six Days. This book contains 50 essays written by 50 scientists with doctorates who believe in the accuracy of the Bible's account of creation. You can find it here:

Thank you for the links. I am very interested in understanding how educated humans who understand the principles of scientific evidence could choose to believe the planet was created in 6 days.
