I am not sure. Perhaps five years or so. The weight loss (about 35 lbs) came mostly in the first year or so, I suppose. (I was not tracking my weight, but I noticed my pants were looser and then I was shocked to see my weight at a doctor's office.)
Were you overweight before?
I did not think so. In retrospect, though, I would say yes. My standard of fitness now is: Can you see a clear outline of tendons, bones and muscles? If not, then there is fat still to lose.
