i ordered my SS from walmart.com for 17 bucks

i got it a few days later.
im not one to read a book but seriously i cant set it down.

i share tidbits of info with my 9 & 11 yr old daughters. i want them informed how messed up our government and systems r.

i read a article last week about aspartame, the fda and the crooked government officials that got it approved for soda. when i explained it to my girls they no longer want diet drinks.

by sharing tidbits of SS with my kids ive peeked their interest in healthy eating. plus they see progress in many areas of my life.

they now r looking cautiously at what they eat. both my girls r very academically advanced and want to read it when i finish. if they stumble on something they dont get, ill help them.

they understand our world is messed up and the majority of people make bad choices, esp regarding food and health. as a parent i feel it is my job to encourage them to help fix the problem, to do what they can to help themselves and others to be the best they can be.

well begun is half done.
raise a child up the way they should go and they will not depart from it...
teach a man to fish and he eats for a life time
whoever u quote or however u remember it, the key is to spread the word on how to do it correctly

For more on aspartame, I recommend the documentary Sweet Misery. I think it may be available to watch online for free since it's an older doc. If your children watch it, they'll be telling everyone they know who drinks it how bad it is--kids don't hold back--I guess there are worse things in the world:-)

Absgirl, I've read a few of your posts and so hope you get wonderful relief! I totally approve of reading this stuff to the kids! I read parts of Fast Food Nation to my son when he was 8 and never had to return to McDonalds again! He's still a wonderful eater 11 years later. Kids like to know the truth and have powerful voices--especially when they think they've been duped.
