I just watched the vegan girl video by Jill Ovnik. She's most likely on the boards somewhere but I'm a newbie so I haven't heard of her. She referred to Dr McDougall several times during the video and showed all our old favorite books at the end.

I found the video on Netflix play on demand. I really liked the open simple family-oriented message she put across. I've heard most of the information before and that's fine. I'm thinking I'll buy her DVDs to give out as christmas presents. (SAD eaters are going to love me)

One thing she said was and I can't quote directly this is from memory: " I can't control what my family eats all the time but I'm the one who does the shopping and preparing of meals. It's up to me to provide the healthiest choices for my loved ones."

Anyway, I give it two thumbs up!

Jill is a sweetheart. She is down to earth and very knows what she is talking about. I would love to be able to go to her retreats but don't have a car. Maybe some day I will get lucky and have one again.
I am in her newsletter this month( Sept). What an honor it was to be asked.
