Marfan's aortic root enlargment, valves prolapsed

Hi Jeff,
I was diagnosed with marfan’s, they did a echo-cardiogram saw my aortic root is moderately enlarged, it is regurgitating, my mitral and tricuspid valve are prolapsed. They have no options that fit my principles with their options of cow, pig valves and stuff. What can I do?

Sorry to say, I'm no Jeff :oops:

. I saw your post and just wanted to let you know that my husband(and three of my kids)have Marfan Syndrome. My husband's Aortic and Mitral valves were both replaced with artificial ones. He was never offered animal replacements as they will not last long term. The only trade-off is that he has to take Coumadin. Hope that helps.
