Blood Pressure Drop

Before starting down the path of a plant based diet, I always thought I was healthy. Slightly overweight, but I've been active, I love running and I've done a marathon and a couple of halfs. My blood pressure has ALWAYS been 120/80 textbook. I really didn't think it could get any lower.

Anyway, I've been following this WOE for just about two months now. Scale this morning tells me I've lost 18 pounds. I had to go to the doctor this morning, my blood pressure was 100/60.

I thought that was low. But my doctor assured me with the way I've been eating, this is probably the healthiest I've ever been and that is where my blood pressure should be, especially if I've been actively running.

Congrats! That's so wonderful!

I had exactly the same experience, even down to the same numbers. I love checking it now at the local drugstore and always seeing it nice and low.
