I'm afraid I'm up 1.2 from my last posting to 180.2 I haven't eaten all that bad, but I did have a piece of cake and some chocolate brownies, albeit vegan ones.
I'm just here for the food.

Up 1/2. Lb. This week. Am really stalled. I know Jeff Novick has a calculator that you can use to see what you are actually eating and make some corrections. Haven't been able to locate it though. Would appreciate it if someone could let me know how to find it.
Have a lot more weight to lose so need to figure out how to get the scale moving faster. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me find this calculator.

I'm new here. I am not sure how I should be posting, but I weighed in today for the start of the maximum weight loss program.
4-22 170 lbs :\

149.4 lb today. Up .2 from April 11th. Couldn't weigh in last week because was out of town. Still in the ballpark, but wish it was in the other direction.

Today I weighed in at 109.5. Yea! That is a loss of 2.5 lbs in the last 2 weeks. I actually lost 4 lbs (108) while out of town. It wasn't easy but I did try to watch my portions and exercise a lot. However since I have been back this week, I put back on 1.5. I suspect the stress of work and getting back to the grind. It's still a 2.5 lb loss though since my last McDougall Weigh in!

CONGRATS to you Daniel ! What a great feeling to lose that much since Christmas. You are an encouragement to me. This thread is so wonderful because we do encourage each other by just being here every week. It helps to keep us on track.

Thanks for the kind words Maryann, and thanks Debbie for maintaining this wonderful tool for accountability. I never thought I would see 200 again! Nor am I anything less than confident that I will reach my immediate weight loss goal and live a much healthier life on this WOE. By the way, what got me started on this was waking up in the middle of the night, turning on the radio and hearing George Noory and Dr McDougall talking on Coast to Coast AM. After hearing about the Starch Diet I couldn't go back to sleep. I found this website, read everything I could and started the day with some whole wheat tortillas and peanut butter! I know, I know! But at least it was a step away from bacon and eggs! Since that day the folks at my local IGA have come to know me as "the guy who buys all the brown rice and lentils." My rice cooker and crock pot have been kept busy! I try to walk on the treadmill at a brisk pace for 30 minutes every day. I gave up coffee and have reduced alcohol consumption to a minimum. I feel so much lighter and have so much more energy! I had my blood drawn today for my annual doctors visit and I can't wait to learn my numbers.
Anyway, thanks for allowing me to ramble. This is a great day for me and I wanted to share it with you.

Well, I lost part of what I gained last week and am down .6 to 179.6 So I'll go change my ticker to try getting down to 160.
