I probably need to read the book again.

What all types of rice can we have? I thought we could only have brown rice. Is that correct or can we have other types?

brown is preferred and what you should eat, but white is allowed on occasion, like if you're at a restaurant and the only oil-free, lowfat starch is white rice, you should choose that over something off-plan. Whole grain rice is what you should eat 90-100% of the time, though, which includes red rice, black rice, and wild rice.
