Hello MWL Supporters,

I have been gone for a good while, but health issues have made me realize that McDougall is the only way to solve this. I am in need of support from you all and especially those who can help me fix easy and good things to eat. I still eat McDougall, but along with other stuff that has caused me to come back for my life and health. Yes, and a smaller me :D

Today, is the first day of the rest of my life and I want it to be a good and healthy life starting now!

I pray that with the support of you all that I can be where I'm meant to be in my health. I will also support you all.

Thank you all in advance for your support.

Hi FaithLady09,
Welcome back. Please consider joining our MWL thread. We start a new one every month and there is an optional weigh-in every week. We’re coming up on our one year anniversary and the group has reported losing 1,388.25 pounds so far in 2009. Click here for the thread.

If you’re looking for recipes, the McDougall newsletter recipes are organized in two clickable lists for MWL and non-MWL and you can find them as sticky posts at the top of the food forum. Click here for that forum.

I also have a blog with MWL recipes and it has lots of photos of MWL food. You can find that here.

I’ve lost over 150 pounds in the last year on MWL and this discussion forum has been wonderfully supportive for me. Let us know if we can help in any way. :)

I want to thank you all for welcoming me and I will do the MWL thread. Thank you for sharing the sites for MWL eating. I so want this to work for me and I know that in order for it to work I MUST do my part.

Today has been a rough day, not in eating, but in how I'm feeling. I've felt weak with no energy. I know that I'm not eating as much as I should and I'm trying to work my way back into the program. I have not gone grocery shopping and I will, however I have potatoes, beans, salad mix, oatmeal, and other veggies on hand.

Just keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I travel this road. I was so excited about getting replies I forgot who said that they were back as well and yes, we can do this!!! Yes, we can and we will as we support each other on this journey called life.

Be blessed,

sometimes when I do a drastic change in diet or even exercise it makes me feel tired and like I'm trying to come down with something.

Keep things simple right now. It makes it much easier. That's what I love about this program. You can make it as hard or easy as you want.
